Susanne Drexler

During her career the studied lawyer Susanne Drexler collected a lot of professional experiences in a management position in marketing and communication and as a freelance journalist. For about 20 years she is closely networked with F&B scene which reflects in the numerous contacts to high-quality producers, top chefs and important media. During several stay abroad in the USA she studied communications, Spanish and world literature in California and also made an internship in a law-office in New York and lived a while in Paris, she made a lot of international culinary contacts.

Christine Seeger
Christine Seeger has a Bachelor degree in English and Media studies from the University of Mannheim. During her studies she did several internships at various important broadcasting stations and was a member of the campus radio crew. After graduation she committed herself to Public Relations and gathered work experience at fischerAppelt Kommunikation in Munich and in a well known PR agency in Frankfurt. At Gourmet Connection she is now specializing on fine food and dining which is also her private passion. Christine Seeger is fluent in English and has basic skills in French and Italian.

Patricia Wenk
Patricia Wenk studied International Business and Cultural Studies with a focus on Southeast Asia at the University of Passau. She spent one year in Bangkok, where she perfected her Thai language skills and worked for BK Magazine. As deputy editor-in-chief of Bangkok City Nightlife Guide, she got to know the city’s most interesting hotspots. During an internship with One World Travel Patricia Wenk gained experience in the field of tourism, while her gastronomy skills were honed when working in a Frankfurt restaurant. Before returning to the culinary path at Gourmet Connection, Patricia Wenk took the first steps of her professional life with an international recruitment agency. Patricia Wenk speaks English and Thai fluently and has basic knowledge of French.

Lisa Koch
Lisa Koch studied Communication and Cultural Management at Zeppelin-University in Friedrichshafen and Macquarie University in Sydney, as well as European Studies at Aachen University. During her studies she did several internships such as at the German Embassy in Madagascar, a gallery in Sydney and the Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra of Berlin and thus gathered experience in PR and event management. As her name already indicates, she is a passionate amateur cook and interested in current trends in the F&B industry. While working in different restaurants she developed her gastronomy skills. During her stays abroad she optimized her knowledge of English and French, and she also has basic knowledge of Spanish.

Miriam Exner
Miriam Exner studied German, history of art and politics at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt. During her studies she completed several internships at important broadcasting stations like Sat.1 and ARTE and with daily newspaper Offenbach Post. When working at MMG media group in Frankfurt she was responsible for communicating a major local project to the media; this is when she became interested in the field of press relations. At Gourmet Connection she gets to combine business with her private passion for food and dining. Miriam Exner has held a side job at an American registry office for many years which left her fluent in English and with basic skills in French and Spanish.

Marie Heiser
Marie Therese Heiser has studied economics at the Johannes Gutenberg-University of Mainz. While still at University, she worked for a Swiss energy and automation engineering enterprise. As a scholarship holder of a major German political party she also gained large insight in local and regional politics. Further, she acquired experience in the hotel industry and gastronomy in both New Zealand and Fiji and has made acquaintance with hospitality-marketing in a globally leading German company. As a Palatinate native, lucullan pleasure – in combination with a good glass of wine – is an important aspect of her life. Therefore it’s only natural for her to make a professional connection between marketing strategies and the food and beverage sector. She is fluent at English and French, and proficient at Italian.

Maximilian Auth
Maximilian Auth studied Sociology and Islamic Science at Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg. During his studies he got involved with a student management consultancy and collected first experiences in a qualitative market research institution whereby his interest for communications was sparked. Holding his first cookbook in his hands at the age of six, he since then developed his passion for everything which comes with cooking. From a working experience at a chocolatier in France to different activities in catering to the realization of an own eating culture survey in Cairo, culinary topics have shaped his career. Being a part of Gourmet Connection means to him connecting his passion with a professional perspective. Maximilian Auth is fluent in English and French plus he has advanced knowledge in Arabic and Spanish.

Mona Lach
Mona Lach got her high school diploma with a focus on economics. Besides regular education she achieved knowledge in the topics economics, accountancy and computer applications. At Gourmet Connection she gains experience in the communication sector and in public relations before taking up her studies. Food was ever an important topic in her lifetime, so she is glad to combine her private interests with her first job-related experiences. Mona Lach speaks English fluently and has basic knowledge of French and Spanish.
